If you’re like most guys, maybe things seem to go well with your wife sometimes–or even most of the time, but then there are other times when things, well, just don’t go well. A lot of men have written in asking how to make your wife happy.
First of all, this is a very broad subject, but I’d like to touch on a few common problems that could lead to your wife being either unhappy, or just down-right mad at you.
This is when you allow room for deep intimacy to grow in your marriage. When I talk about intimacy, I’m not just talking about sex. I’m talking about emotional intimacy. Women and men view emotional intimacy differently. If you don’t believe me, check out what Physiology Today has to say about this issue.
Where as a man may feel connected to his spouse just by physical closeness, a woman feels a sense of deep connection on a more emotional wavelength. Many women crave an emotional connection with their husbands. In other words, if a woman does not feel as if her emotional needs are being met, she will feel unloved, hurt and neglected.
For whatever reason your wife is pissed off at you… be prepared to beg forgiveness by delving deep into you emotional intelligence.
How to Make Your Wife Happy: Set Time Aside Just For Her
Most guys have some kind of hobby, passion, or “thing” that they do. Whether it’s watching football, jamming with your band, blogging, working out, or whatever, it is important to take time to unplug from that and reconnect with your wife from time to time. These days, technology and the media has really allowed room for distance to grown between us and our loved ones if we allow it.
I know that these days it seems like there is never enough time to do everything, but if you just set aside one hour a day to just spend time with your wife and leave all the thoughts of work or your stamp collection aside for a bit, you’d be surprised at how much of a difference it can make in her life.
It is even better if the two of you can do something together such as cooking dinner, but simple things like taking a walk or just sitting down to talk are great too.
